Chinese phase-out of incandescent lamps

Beletich Associates have been appointed to assist the Chinese Government to develop a roadmap for the phase-out of incandescent lamps in China, as part of the PILESLAMP project (Phasing-out of Incandescent Lamps and Energy Saving Lamps Promotion Project).
The Chinese Government has recently commenced implementing the PILESLAMP project which has support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Global Environment Facility (GEF). Overall, the project seeks to enhance adoption of energy efficient lamps in China, through the transformation of the local lighting products market. The ultimate goal is to phase-out the production and sale of incandescent lamps in China.
